CROP SAFETY

IN PULSES

INVESTIGATION INTO THE EFFICACY AND HOST CROP SAFETY OF EDGE AND EDGE UNIFY WHEN APPLIED PSPE AND POST EMERGENT IN PULSES

Summary

Weeds in WA crop production are one of the biggest limiting factors in yield. Having flexibility in onlabel chemical use patterns allows growers to spray at greater range of timings for the best efficacy in controlling weeds, minimising yield loss. This also provides a more diverse arsenal of products/modes of action to use as necessary, helping in reducing occurrence of herbicide resistance. However, knowing limitations of chemistries and potential crop impacts is crucial to understand when looking at alternate use patterns. This trial will investigate the efficacy on grass weeds and crop safety of Propyzamide (Imtrade EDGE 900 WG) when applied PSPE and Post emergent in Pulses (Field Pea). This will provide growers local data regarding weed control and crop safety of PSPE and Post-emergent applications of Propyzamide.
