ABOUT THE EVENT
The Women’s Field Day is set to bring together local producers, industry professionals and community members for a day of learning, connection and practical insight.
Taking place on Tuesday 16th June 2026 at the Dalwallinu Recreation Centre, the event will showcase a diverse program designed to support informed decision-making, resilience and innovation across regional farming businesses.
The day will feature keynote speaker Di Darmody, former ABC Radio presenter, sharing her engaging and personal presentation “Stories from Behind the Microphone”, offering a unique perspective drawn from her career across regional Australia. Eric Nankivell from Farmanco will act as MC, as well as deliver a session on “Smart Decisions in Tough Times: Strategy, Risk and Successful Systems.” He will also facilitate a farmer panel discussion, providing practical, real-world insights into farming systems and decision-making.
