ABOUT THE EVENT

A recent Federal Court decision has changed how employers must calculate pay and keep employment records. Employers can no longer rely on annualised or averaged salaries — Award compliance must now be met in every pay period.

This practical workshop will explain what’s changed, where the risks now sit, and what employers need to do to stay compliant. While these changes apply to national system employers, WA businesses should take notice as WA IR laws often follow Fair Work interpretations.

  • Pay compliance required each pay period

  • Flat rates and salaries – when top-ups are required
