Post Seeding Field Walk 2025 (Members only)

This annual event provides a comprehensive overview of the trials being conducted at the Main Trial Site for the season, including trial research progress and predictions.

To conclude the Post Seeding Field Walk, CSBP will run a fertiliser placement dye night.

The CSBP trials team will seed various ‘treatments’ in the afternoon for comparison at night. The fertiliser will be coated in a fluorescent dye, making it possible to see its placement in the furrow using torches at night. The different treatments will be fertiliser applied pre and post-seeding, flexi N applied pre-seeding vs banded, and compound vs blend.

The night will provide an opportunity to have a discussion about fertiliser efficiency and the decisions made around fertiliser application.
