Project background
Farmanco was awarded the “Increasing capacity and capability for mouse surveillance and management in the Western Australian grains industry” project from GRDC. The project is in it’s final year, grower groups are conducting the surveillance activities. This activity forms part of delivery of Output 1:

Results
Across the twelve sites monitored by the Liebe Group this year, there has been no observed mouse activity. Each site was visited and assessed in April and again in July. After a dry year last year, the mouse population has yet to recover, with no signs of current activity at any of the twelve sites.
