Over 120 women from across the region - from Geraldton to Mukinbudin, Narrogin and everywhere in between - gathered for the 2025 Women's Field Day, making it a vibrant and inspiring event.
The day featured an engaging line-up of topics, including agronomics, artificial intelligence, farm safety, community involvement, and forward-thinking strategies for planning the future of farming businesses and families.
A standout moment was the keynote presentation by Helen Fitzroy. Her talk, Just a Number, deeply resonated with the audience, driving home the importance of making safety a core value, not just a priority. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room, as Helen’s moving story reminded us all of the very real human cost behind workplace incidents.
A big thank you goes to Jenny’s Bakehouse for the delicious morning tea and to The Old Convent for a beautifully catered lunch - your support helped make the day extra special! Also thank you to the Kalannie CRC for supplying coffee for the morning, generously donated by the Nixon Family, Bunketch Ag, thank you!!
Networking was a highlight, with interactive sessions led by Liebe’s Development and Support Officer, Rebecca Wallis, helping break the ice and build new connections. And for a bit of fun, the Bingo game brought out the competitive spirit, with local farmer Wendy Sawyer from Dally taking the win!
A heartfelt thank you to the Liebe Women’s Committee, Liebe Staff, presenters, kitchen volunteers and of course, all attendees, for making the 2025 Women’s Field Day such a meaningful and memorable event.
We can’t wait to see you all again next year!
